Tip Off Preview: Mountain West, Northeast and Ohio Valley Conference

Tonight 3 additional conference tournaments will tip off.  Below you will see a full breakdown of the Mountain West, Northeast and Ohio Valley conference tournaments.  We do have some afternoon basketball today in the Mountain West, but nothing that impacts the pool.  The only real call out with the Mountain West afternoon games is passing my condolences along to Robb as San Jose State will officially be eliminated before dinner time.  The good news, 7 conference tournaments are now in progress!

Mountain West Preview

• 82% of the picks in our pool are on (1) San Diego State to win the conference championship and Team Rankings gives (1) San Diego State a 49% chance to win the conference championship so we are all very much over valuing this team.

• A few people are on (2) Utah State, (4) UNLV and (5) Boise State with none of these teams playing today.

• The games are on the Mountain West Network today, whatever that is.

Northeast Conference Preview

• 38% of the picks in our pool are on (2) St. Francis PA to win the conference championship and Team Rankings gives (2) St. Francis PA a 32% chance to win the conference championship so we are all very much aligned on a 2 seed.

• No one picked a team greater than a 4 seed and we have 11 people on (3) Sacred Heart, this is one of those conferences that could be key in determining our winner.

• We are not guaranteed to see any losses tonight, however the spreads on all 4 games are less than 9 so none of these games are a lock.  I think the only way to watch these games would be for Dan Sohler to post his live stream periscope link.

Ohio Valley Conference Preview

• 62% of the picks in our pool are on (1) Belmont to win the conference championship and Team Rankings gives (1) Belmont a 60% chance to win the conference championship so we are all very much aligned.

• The 6 - 8 seeds are playing tonight, but we do have Hurley on (5) Tennessee State, we're all rooting against you!

• All of these games are on in the evening on ESPN+.
