Tip Off Preview: Arch Madness & West Coast Conference

Tonight 2 additional conference tournaments will tip off.  Below you will see a full breakdown of the Missouri Valley and West Coast conference tournaments.  We do have some more afternoon basketball today in the Big South, with all Big South teams in action.  9 conference tournaments are now in progress!

STANDINGS

Missouri Valley Conference Preview

• 68% of the picks in our pool are on (1) Northern Iowa to win the conference championship and Team Rankings gives (1) Northern Iowa a 42% chance to win the conference championship so we are all very much over valuing this team.

• A few people are on (2) Loyola Chicago, (4) Bradley and (10) Evansville with only Evansville playing today.  We'll likely see a loss today with Evansville.

• The games are on the MVC Network today, which in the Chicago area is typically Comcast.

West Coast Conference Preview

• We pretty much all picked Gonzaga.  85% of the picks in our pool are on (1) Gonzaga to win the conference championship and Team Rankings gives (1) Gonzaga a 70% chance to win the conference championship.

• Only a handful of people picked (2) BYU, a team that has already beat Gonzaga

• The 7 - 10 seeds are playing tonight, so we will not see any impact to our pool from tonight's games.

We are now getting into Quarterfinals and day basketball for conferences that tipped off earlier this week.  All Big South teams play throughout the day today and although a loss is not guaranteed, we all have our teams at risk.  All Mountain West teams play throughout the day today and we are guaranteed at least 1 loss.  

Tonight all Atlantic Sun, Ohio Valley and Patriot League teams play and we are guaranteed multiple losses tonight based on the match ups, we'll see some major changes with the standings, we may even have a few people with 2 losses after this night is over.
